Kennewick Housing Authority (KHA) provides long-term subsidized rental assistance to approximately 1,313 eligible households who are extremely low to low incomes throughout its operational jurisdiction in the Cities of Kennewick and Richland, Benton County, Washington. KHA does not provide temporary shelter or emergency housing.

KHA is pleased to announce all waiting lists except Section 8 are open as of January 1, 2022.  EHV, Mainstream, NED, and FUP voucher programs continue to have open waiting lists. The site-based waiting list for the Lilac Homes community located at 128 East 13th Avenue in Kennewick continues to be open.  Applicants must be extremely to very low income and have a referral from the Housing Resource Center or be working with DSHS staff.  All units are reserved for persons or families who are homeless upon entry into housing.  Community preferences for veterans, homeless families with minor children and persons with disabilities referred by DSHS.  Applicants must pass a criminal background check and meet eligibility for the Housing Choice Voucher/Section 8 housing assistance program.  See application link above.
